WHO WE ARE AND HOW TO CONTACT US

Ocean Light II Adventures is a family owned and operated company and has been offering trips for 33 years on the BC Coast. 2010 will see both Tom and Chris as skippers, together they have 49 years of combined coastal sailing experience. They have introduced the coast to thousands of people, young and old.

Tom, a 35-year veteran of the BC coast, has a Canadian Coast Guard Certified Masters Certificate and ensures that his vessel the Ocean Light II is re-certified annually to meet all requirements. He is also certified in Wilderness First Aid. Tom initiated Grizzly Bear and Spirit Bear programs on the BC Coast. He continually contributes a tremendous amount to the conservation of our endangered wilderness areas.

We are really excited and fortunate to have Chris on our team. With more than 16 years of experience, Chris is highly respected in the charter industry on the BC Coast and in SE Alaska. He brings his expertise and new energy to Ocean Light II Adventures. Chris is Canadian Coast Guard certified and has commanded research vessels responsible for marine mammal studies, wildlife documentaries and seabird surveys. He has guided a variety of coastal adventure tours and has developed an extensive knowledge and passion for the diverse wildlife along the rich coast of British Columbia.
